Goldie
Thursday 13th August 2015
Something that the lads over at 99 do amazingly well, is deliver coup style bookings on a regular basis, they have in the past brought ridiculous artist to their parties
, names including Jazzy Jeff, 808 State, Prosumer & Grand Master Flash to name but a few luminaries to feature
. Their next guest will take his place among this illustrious list, enter
Metalheadz boss Goldie. Goldie has helped turn the Drum & Bass scene on its head when he crashed on to the scene with his trademark
grin and swagger. 99’s resident evil genius Rob Ralston will be joined
by Gmac & Eno on support duties. Get down early for this one as this is going to be a sweatbox of a night.
Marshall Jefferson
Thursday 20th August 2015
Marshall Jefferson needs little introduction, having created the original jack track with “Move Your Body” and with it cemented his name in to the House music history
books. To have such a legend of our time
play
the intimate surroundings of 99 Hanover Street has classic written all over it. To warm you up for the main event
, Edinburgh on point upstarts, Hectors House selectors Gav Miller, David Elders, Luke Anderson & Simon Bays will go head to head with the old guard of Moovn’s Andy Baker & Steven Willison
Terry Farley
Thursday 27th August 2015
Junior Boys Own instigator and British institution, Terry Farley can be cited as nurturing the best
in British
electronic music
. Having set up JBO at the start
of the 90’s, Farley’s JBO was home to the best
music
of the era, with The Chemical Brothers, Underworld & X-Press 2 all calling JBO home during their inception. What Terry Farley doesn’t know about House music and DJing isn’t really worth knowing and it’s this wealth of knowledge and sheer artistry that will be on show
. Another name synonymous with House music and an equally varied and expansive music knowledge, Scottish Soulful Weekender head honcho Yogi Haughton will support Terry on the night. Expect a true schooling in all things House.
