Right on queue comes this next release from rising London-based duo taMe.
Quantum State is the seventh release on the pair’s taMe Music imprint and offers two superbly crafted and produced tracks called ‘Lucid Dream’ and ‘Moon of Taurus’.
In collaboration with UK singer/songwriter Lauren Francis, Lucid dream is a trippy, atmospheric and powerful ‘big moment’ tune that melodiously pumps along ingeniously in true taMe signature style, enhanced with the captivating and almost haunting, angelic vocals from the wonderfully gifted Ms Francis. Aside from the original vocal mix this package also comes with a bonus club mix for those that prefer a little less of the vocal element.
Moon of Taurus brings pure taMe techno to this release with an addictive 303 hook line that never lets up for those that just want to go for the main artery. Think ‘wake up’ techno for peak time that just doesn’t pull a single punch and you’ll have an idea.

It’s a tough track but with an accessible to many vibe.
How does it differ from your last release?
This is perhaps more radio friendly and we do like to collaborate with talented, emerging singer/songwriters.
What was the inspiration for this release?
Walking through Dalston a little worse for wear late one night. We wanted to dream up something a little different with a strong, unusual vocal.
